CAI is proud to announce that Paige Kane, PhD, CPIP, Associate Vice President of Operational Readiness and Operational Excellence, has been elected to serve on the International Society for Pharmaceutical Engineering (ISPE) 2026–2028 International Board of Directors.
Paige’s two-year term will officially begin during the Membership Meeting at the 2026 ISPE Annual Meeting & Expo in Washington, D.C., on October 20.
The election represents an exciting milestone in Paige’s more than 25 years of involvement with ISPE and reflects a career dedicated to advancing knowledge, innovation and collaboration across the pharmaceutical and biotech industries.

A Longstanding Commitment to ISPE and the Industry
Paige brings more than 30 years of experience across research, clinical and commercial manufacturing in the pharmaceutical and biotech industries. Throughout her career, she has led global facility startups and operations in the United States and Ireland, with expertise spanning Operational Excellence, Digital Transformation, Quality, Engineering, Knowledge Management and Network Strategy. Before joining CAI, she held key leadership roles at Merck & Co., Pfizer, Wyeth and Genetics Institute.
Her commitment to advancing the industry extends well beyond her professional roles.
Over the past 25 years, Paige has served ISPE in numerous global leadership positions, including involvement with GAMP, Pharma 4.0 and the Biotechnology Community of Practice. She has also contributed as an author to six ISPE guidance documents spanning areas such as GAMP, Pharma 4.0 and Knowledge Management. As a member of the ISPE Boston Chapter, Paige co-led the Student Chapter Committee and has remained a strong advocate for student and university engagement and the continued advancement of ISPE chapters and affiliates.

ISPE brings together professionals across the pharmaceutical lifecycle to advance scientific, technical and regulatory knowledge and address some of the industry’s most complex challenges. Its International Board of Directors provides governance and strategic leadership for the organization.
