Have I ever told you how much I want to be just like you? I am so thankful for the opportunity to work alongside the ultimate colleague, mother, friend, partner, and party guest. You teach me to strive for the things I’ve always dreamt of and only focus on the things that actually matter. From the moment I met you, I looked up at you as a role model.
Sarah Patterson, blog author, with some of the powerful women (and men, who always support the women) of CAI.
You’ve taught me to always be myself. When you walk in a room, you own it, and our colleagues give you the respect you deserve. You live without fear of other’s opinions and have the courage to leave your comfort zone to chase growth and goals. Thanks to you, I am no longer afraid to be the smart girl or disagree with the opinion of the crowd. You still always consider everyone’s best interests, and you have brilliant solutions to any problem we encounter. You are one of the most courageous people I know.
You are perfectly well-rounded. You set boundaries and know when to let go. After the work day, you head to the gym, make dinner, spend time with your husband and kids. I love how you know when you put down your phone and close your computer. You recognize the importance of wellness, knowing your job performance is better because of it. You are so balanced and poised.
You have a passion to make a difference in the world. You remind me that even when I have a bad day or need work long hours, our work and services positively impact the lives of many. You’ve taught me to enjoy the ride, have a little fun, and that there is never a challenge too big or too impossible to accomplish. You teach me to always reach higher.
I’m sorry I ask so many questions, text and call after business hours, follow you around, and always look over your shoulder, I just want to become a successful woman like you. Thank you for always knowing who you are and sticking to it. Thank you for being my role model and inspiration. Thank you for being my favorite #girlboss.
