A biotech company launching its first drug engaged CAI to align KPIs with site objectives and develop dashboards for performance monitoring. The project ensured readiness for their new SAP system by addressing gaps and standardizing data sourcing.
PROJECT OVERVIEW
CAI assisted a biotech manufacturing company in Switzerland to develop performance measurement systems before launching commercial production of a new drug. The project team worked with each department to identify, assess, and recommend Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) aligned with site objectives. CAI developed two-level dashboards for site and departmental performance monitoring, integrating user experience design for future Power BI implementation. The team also provided comprehensive training and documentation, including a customized online module and a KPIs Handbook. This project not only delivered smart, validated dashboard sets but also fostered teambuilding, improved communication, and cultivated a “one-site” attitude focused on patient delivery.
